The Citadel is committed to recognizing our best employees. We conduct an annual Employee and Team of the Year program with candidates nominated by their Vice President. The nomination announcement is published in January with an award date in April. The winner of the Employee and Team of the Year are recognized at a reception in April and then attend a parade in their honor by the Corps of Cadets.
In addition to the Employee/Team of the Year awards is the new Presidential Award Winner (PAW) Program. Employees can now be nominated for three additional awards recognizing outstanding performance in various aspects of their work.
